San Antonio, TX – Woman Fatally Hit by Truck near West Ave

San Antonio, TX (January 11, 2021) – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred last night, Sunday, January 10, that took the life of one woman. The accident occurred on the North Side of San Antonio near West Avenue and Trudell Drive, in the vicinity of Jackson Keller Road. 

The woman was leaving a bar, according to police, when she was hit by a truck. The driver, identified as a 30-year-old male, stopped to render aid and cooperate with authorities. The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The truck was identified as a black Ford F-150 pickup that was headed north on West Avenue at the time of the crash. The San Antonio Police Department, as well as the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all, responded to the call concerning the crash. 

Nothing further has been released at this time. An investigation into the details of the collision will be carried out by local police.
