San Antonio, TX – Woman Injured in Car Crash on I-10

San Antonio, TX (Aug 28, 2020) – Just before 1:00 a.m. on August 27, an auto accident took place on Interstate 10 near Foster Road on the east side of San Antonio that caused a woman to become pinned between two vehicles. 

Two vehicles were involved in a collision on the interstate for reasons still under local law enforcement investigation. A female family member of one of the individuals involved in the wreck stopped to assist at the accident site. As she was attempting to get tools from the back of her vehicle, she was struck by another passing car. 

The woman, who remains unidentified at this time, was trapped between two vehicles for a short period of time and transported by ambulance to a nearby medical center. Her injuries were deemed to be life-threatening in nature.

A total of three vehicles were involved in the wreck. The total number of people involved in the crash has not been released at this time. Their identities also remain undisclosed as police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the crash. 

The current health condition of the injured woman has not been released by local news sources. 

No further information is available at this time.
