San Patricio, TX – Two-Car Injury Crash on I-35 near Gillespie Ln

San Patricio, TX (March 31, 2021) – Authorities in San Patricio are currently investigating the cause of a two-car accident that occurred on the afternoon of March 29. According to information provided by officials, the incident occurred at around 1:25 p.m.

One person was reportedly injured in the two-car wreck that took place on Interstate 35 near Gillespie Lane. Two vehicles were involved, including a 2013 white Chevrolet and a 2020 Gray Chevrolet. 

The driver of the gray Chevrolet, identified as a 30-year-old male,  was reportedly injured in the crash. Two other individuals present in the other vehicle did not sustain any injuries. No one involved has been identified at this time as police continue to investigate. 

EMTs rendered emergency aid to the injured victim at the scene. He was then transported to an area medical center for treatment. 

The area where the collision took place was closed to local traffic while responders worked to clear the wreckage from the road.
