Schertz, TX – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on I-35 Access Road

Schertz, TX (March 12, 2024) – A motorcyclist lost their life in a crash involving an SUV and a semi-truck on Tuesday evening, according to Schertz police.

The collision happened around 6:41 p.m. in the 17500 block of the Interstate 35 northbound access road. Officers arrived to find the motorcyclist on the ground. A bystander had attempted CPR before an officer took over, continuing life-saving measures until Schertz EMS arrived. Tragically, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity, pending notification of their family. Investigators with the Schertz Police Department’s Central Investigation Division are working to determine the cause of the crash.
