According to reports from the San Antonio Police Department, a motorcycle and an unknown number of vehicles were involved in a collision on Interstate 35. The incident prompted the San Antonio police to shut down the roadway between Rittman Road and Eisenhower Road.
The motorcyclist was severely hurt in the crash. The victim was briefly treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital, where they underwent emergency care.
Authorities shut down the roadway for an extended period while working to clear the scene.
Investigations into the crash are being performed.
