San Antonio, TX – Woman Dies in Pedestrian Crash on SW Military Dr

San Antonio, TX (March 31, 2025) – A woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a busy road on San Antonio’s South Side late Friday evening.

The incident unfolded around 8:20 p.m. on March 28 along the 1400 block of Southwest Military Drive. According to San Antonio police, the woman had been crossing the street from south to north when she was hit by a 1995 BMW 74A traveling westbound. Emergency medical teams quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save her, she later passed away due to the severity of her injuries.

Authorities confirmed that the driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. At this time, officials say that no criminal charges are expected in connection with the crash. The woman’s identity has not yet been released.  Investigations remain ongoing as officials work to determine the exact cause of the accident.
