At around 5:00 a.m. on November 10, calls for help came in regarding a crash that occurred on US Highway 83.
According to reports provided by the Texas Department of Public Safety, a white Ford pickup truck was traveling on the highway when the driver lost control of their vehicle on the southbound side of the road near mile marker 746.
As a result, the vehicle entered the northbound lanes, where it collided with a red Ford pickup truck. After the initial collision, the white pickup truck was struck by a gray Toyota SUV.
The occupants of all of the involved vehicles sustained injuries. The victims were all transported to area hospitals for emergency care. The driver of the white pickup truck was subsequently transported to a hospital in the San Antonio area.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
