Car Accidents in Texas
Every month, numerous individuals sustain injuries in automobile accidents across Texas. Regrettably, many of these accidents result in injuries so severe that they necessitate both immediate and long-term medical care. It is not uncommon to find victims of Texas car collisions suffering from head injuries, fractures, and even internal organ damage in the aftermath of their accidents.
Regrettably, a significant portion of these accidents occur under entirely avoidable circumstances. Common contributing factors in many of these incidents throughout our state include:
- Failure to Yield: Instances where drivers neglect to yield the right-of-way to other vehicles often lead to collisions and resultant severe injuries. These incidents frequently occur at intersections, near parking lot entrances, and various other locations statewide.
- Excessive Speeding: Drivers who operate their vehicles at excessively high speeds increase the risk of losing control and colliding with others. Moreover, speeding amplifies the severity of injuries due to the heightened force of impact.
- Distracted Driving: Despite the fact that there are laws in place banning the use of cell phones and other handheld devices while driving, many drivers persist in texting, talking, or even browsing the internet while behind the wheel. Cell phone usage and other distractions remain significant factors in numerous crashes across our state.
